Nate Bargatze Sets Dates For 2023 ‘The Be Funny Tour’
Nate Bargatze has lined up loads of laughs for early 2023 with “The Be Funny Tour,” featuring all new material. The comedian’s got 21 dates confirmed for January through April with the promise of more gigs to be added soon.
Bargatze, who hails from Old Hickory, Tennessee, is known for his clean and relatable comedy with “The Atlantic” magazine calling him “The Nicest Man in Stand-Up” and CBS dubbing him a “rising star.” He’s appeared on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” 10 times after four appearances on “Late Night with Conan O’Brien.” Along with his two Netflix specials, 2019’s “The Tennessee Kid” and “The Greatest Average American,” Bargatze has a podcast he released in July 2020 in partnership with All Things Comedy. New episodes of “Nateland” are released Wednesdays.
“The Be Funny Tour” launches Jan. 12 with a show at Thalia Mara Hall in Jackson, Mississippi. The routing includes Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Auditorium in Chattanooga, Tennessee; two nights at Wynn Las Vegas – Encore Theater; PNC Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina; PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh; and Covelli Centre in Youngstown, Ohio. The last stop – for now – is April 14 at Freedom Hall Civic Center in Johnson, Tennessee.

Box office reports submitted to Pollstar for Bargatze include an Aug. 27 show at Cape Cod Melody Tent in Hyannis, Massachusetts, that sold 2,200 tickets and grossed $130,075.
Bargatze ranked No. 15 on Pollstar’s Top 25 Comedy Tours chart, based on data from Sept. 16, 2021 and Sept 15, 2022. The chart was included in Pollstar’s inaugural Comedy Issue.
