Dead & Company Add Boston, S.F. Dates To ‘The Final Tour’

DEAD CO 2023 FINAL ROUND 1

Dead & Company fans in San Francisco and Boston who missed out on tickets when “The Final Tour” was originally announced for summer 2023 have another shot at them with the announcement of shows being added to stops in those cities.

A second show has been added at Fenway Park in Boston on Saturday, June 24 and an unprecedented third show has been added to the band’s hometown closer in San Francisco’s Oracle Park Sunday, July 16.

Tickets for the added shows go on sale Friday, Oct. 21 at 10 a.m. local time through Dead & Company’s website. To ensure that tickets get directly into the hands of fans, advance presale registration is available now, and the artist presale begins Oct. 20 at noon local time, both at the Dead & Company website.

A variety of VIP and travel packages, including seamless venue access, early GA entry, pre-show lounge with food and a cash bar, exclusive merchandise, or travel packages for multi-night runs in various cities are available starting Oct. 20 at noon local through 100X Hospitality via the band’s website.

The band – Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann, John Mayer, and Bob Weir, with Oteil Burbridge and Jeff Chimenti – will perform two sets of music drawing from the Grateful Dead’s historic catalog of songs on the Live Nation-produced tour.

“The Final Tour” is just that – Dead & Company are ending their historic run after former Grateful Dead members Weir, Hart and Kreutzmann brought some friends along for the legendary band’s 50th anniversary “Fare Thee Well” concerts in 2015, and decided to keep it going.
