Imagine Dragons, The Strokes To Headline Inaugural Lollapalooza India

The lineup is set for the first Lollapalooza India with Imagine Dragons and The Strokes taking top billing for the festival at Mahalaxmi Race Course in Mumbai Jan. 28-29, 2023.

Greta Van Fleet, Diplo, ZHU, AP Dhillon, Cigarettes After Sex, Japanese Breakfast, Madeon, Alec Benjamin, Jackson Wang, Chelsea Cutler, and The Wombats will also perform.

All of the international acts on the bill, other than Diplo and Cigarettes After Sex, will be playing their first shows in India.

The 2023 event will be Lollapalooza’s debut in Asia; with the addition of India, the festival is now in eight countries. Lollapalooza also stages festivals in the United States, Chile, Brazil, Argentina, Germany, France and Sweden.  

Imagine Dragons headlined Lollapalooza’s various European stops in the summer of 2022 in addition to staging a successful run of their own, which included a $2.1 million gross at Hersheypark in Hershey, Pennsylvania, Aug. 12, selling 27,117 tickets, according to reports submitted to Pollstar‘s Boxoffice.

Fellow headliners The Strokes spent the summer opening for Red Hot Chili Peppers on a stadium loop and playing festival spots throughout the world. The Strokes did headline two dates at Hordern Pavilion in Moore Park, Australia, in the eastern suburbs of Sydney. The July 28 and 29 shows sold a total of 10,681 tickets, grossing $760,821, according to submitted reports.
