London K-Pop Concert Canceled Over Itaewon Stampede
Live Company Group (LVCG) today announced the cancellation of a K-Pop concert at London’s O2 Arena, Nov. 20, following the Halloween stampede in Itaewon, Seoul, South Korea, which killed more than 150 people.
The concert, dubbed K.Flex, would have featured Winner, Pentagon, Ab6ix, Younite, and more on the bill. However, as a promoter statement reads, “following the recent tragedy in Itaewon and the period of national mourning across South Korea, K.FLEX are deeply sorry to announce the cancellation of our November 20 concert at London’s The O2.”
Ticket buyers will be refunded at their point of purchase, and will be given the opportunity to purchase tickets for next year’s K-Pop festival, scheduled to go down at the O2, Sept. 22-24.

“We know our fans will be disappointed, as are we, but we truly feel it’s the right decision, and our thoughts and prayers remain with those affected,” the statement from LVCG concludes.
Live Company Group was founded in 2017 by David Ciclitira, who has been involved in promoting K-Pop concerts and art shows throughout Asia for the past 10 years. LVCG owns the BRICKLIVE brand, a global content provider for brick-based events. The company formed a new division, LCSE, in December 2020 “to conceptualize, acquire rights, commercialize and deliver sport, lifestyle and entertainment events,” by its own admission.
