Among those promoted are music agents Brennan Duffy, Noah Friedlander, Alana Gitt, Akhil Hegde and Lauren Holland; and coordinators Mackenzie Coberley, Alexis Lesko, Gabriella Librizzi, Lauren Mclusky and Hope Murray. In comedy touring, Isaiah Jones is promoted to agent and Samantha Jokela becomes coordinator.

The promotions represent a wide range of backgrounds and experiences and include more than 60% who identify as women and 35% who identify as people of color. Eighty percent of those promoted to Agent started their careers in UTA’s Agent Training Program, according to the agency.

“Over the past year, UTA has accelerated our momentum with new acquisitions, investments in our client capabilities, and key hires,” said UTA President David Kramer. “This growth could not be possible without the hard work, ambition, and collaborative nature of the colleagues we promoted today. Providing opportunities for advancement is core to our culture, and we are proud to share in this group’s success and excited to see what their next chapters at UTA will bring.”

Separately, in May, UTA announced its largest partner class ever-elevating 26 partners across 15 divisions.

The promotions come amidst a time of substantial development and growth for UTA. In July 2022, UTA and top global investment firm EQT Private Equity announced a strategic partnership for EQT to become UTA’s largest outside shareholder.

Additionally, the company recently announced the acquisition of Curtis Brown Group, one of the UK’s largest and most prestigious literary and talent groups. The deal significantly expanded UTA’s global footprint in a critical and thriving creative market.

This summer, UTA also acquired software and data analytics company MediaHound. The acquisition advanced UTA’s data analytics capabilities and gave the company an important industry advantage to deliver more impactful insights to clients.
