The post-game concert, the band’s only scheduled performance in the Queen City next summer, will benefit the Hop On A Cure Foundation which was started by the band’s multi-instrumentalist John Driskell Hopkins after he was diagnosed with ALS, sometimes called Lou Gehrig’s disease.

The foundation supports ALS research and awareness.

All fans with tickets to that day’s game will be able to attend the ensuing concert. Pit Field Passes, permitting a closer view, go on sale Nov. 21 at 9 a.m. Eastern via the Reds website. The pass includes a field box tickets for the game and $20 from each package is donated to the foundation.

Starting in 2021, MLB has recognized Lou Gehrig Day with proceeds from ticket sales on that day going to ALS research and awareness.
