ESNS Completes Lineup

ESNS 2023 has completed its lineup by adding 52 artists, who’ll perform at the upcoming edition in Groningen, the Netherlands, Jan. 18-21.

A total of 290 emerging artists from Europe will take the stage at one of the 40 venues in Groningen that are used to present some 4,000 attending industry professional with new music.

DJ Khaled To Curate Day At Soundstorm

Soundstorm Festival in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, which celebrates its third edition Dec. 1-3, boasts its usual lineup comprising the biggest names in electronic music, from A like Afrojack to Z like Zedd, and everybody who is anybody in-between.

A host of up-and-coming and local artists are part of the bill as well. New in 2022 is the addition of a set dedicated to hip hop, and curated by DJ Khaled. He will be joined on the Big Beast stage by Busta Rhymes, Fat Joe, Future, Rick Ross and T.I.

Florence + The Machine & Liam Gallagher At Boardmasters

Boardmasters, the UK’s surf and music festival, taking place Aug. 9-13, 2023, in Cornwall, has revealed the first wave of artists for 2023, including two huge headliners.

Liam Gallagher and Florence + The Machine head up the bill for next summer, and are joined by over 30 confirmed artists, including Little Sims, Four Tet, Example, and others.

According to the promoters, “Boardmasters 2022 saw a monumental sell-out, and now, demand is at an all-time high with a record tens of thousands of fans signing up for the festival’s pre-sale. The biggest names in music, the most exciting surf talent, and not one, but two, spectacular festival settings of Watergate Bay and Fistral Beach, Cornwall – Boardmasters 2023 is not to be missed.”

Primavera Sound Announces Barcelona & Madrid Lineups

Primavera Sound, which expanded massively in recent years, announced the lineups for both the original Barcelona editions, as well as next year’s premiere in the Spanish capital Madrid.

Depeche Mode, Kendrick Lamar, Blur, Rosalía, Halsey, FKA twigs, Skrillex, Måneskin, St. Vincent, The Moldy Peaches, Calvin Harris, and Le Tigre will headline both the Barcelona and Madrid festivals.

Primavera Sound Barcelona takes place June 1-3, at the Parc del Fòrum, while the Madrid edition goes down the week after, June 8-10, at the Ciudad del Rock in Arganda del Rey, which lies about 30 kilometers outside Madrid.

The Wednesday will be a free festival day in both cities, May 31 and June 7, respectively, and headlines by Pet Shop Boys. “In total,” a promoter statement reads, “there will be over 200 performances in each city.”

Tickets for Primavera Sound Barcelona 2023, and Primavera Sound Madrid 2023 go on sale Thursday, Dec. 1, at 12 p.m. CET on DICE, which has a multi-year exclusive mobile-only ticketing partnership with the festival European editions in Spain and Portugal.
