Venice Music Names Dani Oliva As New VP Of Business & Legal Affairs
Venice Music has named Dani Oliva as their new VP of business and legal affairs. Throughout his career, Oliva has served underrepresented communities and co-founded the Indigenous and LGBTQ-owned Canadian record label, Alt Eden.
“I’m joining visionaries Troy Carter and Suzy Ryoo along with an incredibly talented, kind, passionate team of music lovers and professionals at Venice,” Dani Oliva said in a statement. “I’ve spent the past 20 years helping music creators build infrastructure to support their careers and I’m excited to continue to do so through community, data, and technology driven solutions at Venice.”
Prior to joining Venice, Oliva had founded Oliva Law Group, P.C., and has also provided his clients with music consulting services. Oliva has worked on Ariana Grande’s Positions and with DOMi of DOMi & JD Beck. In his new role with Venice, Oliva will lead the company’s legal and business affairs strategy, negotiate deals for artists, and support strong commercial partnerships with streaming and social platforms.

Venice Music works as a music and technology company for independent creatives. Founded in January 2021, the company offers analytics, marketing, A&R support, educational content, live showcasing and more for their clients.
