Introducing Sacramento’s New Latin Music Fest: Estamos Vivos Carnival 

Sacramento, California, will be home to a new Latin music festival come February, with details announced for the inaugural Estamos Vivos Carnival set for Feb. 19. The festival marks the debut in the live events industry for new events production and promotion group Outside Live, a proud minority and independently-owned organization.

The lineup features rising stars, trailblazers in the Latin world and classic throwback acts, offering a mix of genres from reggaeton to cumbia to corridos and more. Estamos Vivos Carnival is headlined by reggaeton pioneers and Latin Grammy Award winners Tito “El Bambino” and De La Ghetto. Fans will also be treated to performances from Cuban-born Corrido singer/songwriter and Latin trap rapper Ovi and Miami-born songstress Mariah Angeliq (aka “La Princesa de Miami”) along with Baby Bash, MC Magic, Paula DeAndra, Frankie J, and Nina Sky. 

Estamos Vivos Carnival takes place at Southside Amphitheatre, a 19.9-acre public park located in downtown Sacramento that is surrounded by multiple dining options, as well as hotel accommodations and access to transportation. Though the venue is spacious, an announcement notes that organizers will limit festival attendance for the first year to provide a more intimate and positive experience.

Outside Live, which is based in Sacramento, was founded by entrepreneur Romeo Ussery. Estamos Vivos Carnival is the first of a roster of boutique music festivals planned to serve fans across Northern California. Other projects are set to be revealed in early 2023 including a two-day festival taking place in May in the greater Bay Area.
