Elton John At Glastonbury

Elton John will headline the Pyramid Stage on Sunday night, June 25, at Glastonbury 2023, for what will be the final UK show of his last ever tour.

Yes, this could mean that Glastonbury 2023 could very well host the last show ever played by one of the biggest legends in the game.

Promoter Emily Eavis commented, “It gives me enormous pleasure to let you know that the one and only Elton John will be making his first ever Glastonbury appearance, headlining the Pyramid Stage on the Sunday night next year. This will be the final UK show of Elton’s last ever tour, so we will be closing the Festival and marking this huge moment in both of our histories with the mother of all send offs. We are so very happy to finally bring the Rocket Man to Worthy Farm!”

Glastonbury 2023 is sold out.

Guns N’ Roses Headline Hyde Park

Guns N’ Roses will headline the 10th anniversary of BST Hyde Park in London, England, next year, June 30.

The lineup will comprise Axl Rose, Slash, Duff McKagan, Dizzy Reed, Richard Fortus, Frank Ferrer, and Melissa Reese. A lineup of special guests, who’ll share the Great Oak Stage with Guns N’ Roses on that day, will be announced soon.

Guns N’ Roses are the next blockbuster announcement from promoter AEG Presents, joining already confirmed Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Billy Joel, P!NK with special guest Gwen Stefani, Take That, and BLACKPINK on the BST Hyde Park billing for 2023 so far.

Tickets will go on general sale at 10 a.m. GMT on Wednesday, Dec. 7.

Years & Years At Standon Calling

Standon Calling returns for its 17th edition, July 20-23, 2023, headlined by Years & Years, Self Esteem, Bloc Party, and The Human League. They join previously announced Anastasia, Melanie C, KT Tunstall, Dylan, Katy B, Jaguar, and more.

Festival founder and director Alex Trenchard said next year’s festival was shaping up to be “the greatest Standon Calling to date. We’re so proud of this year’s progress in booking a gender-balanced headline bill and are certainly in for a good time. Couldn’t be happier to bring Self Esteem back and in an even bigger slot, alongside Bloc Party, an all time favourite of ours and one of the greatest modern alternative indie rock bands around.

“With more iconic names like Years & Years, The Human League and many more, we’ve booked some of the best live acts going, including future superstars ready to take over 2023 and much more – this announcement really captures everything important about Standon Calling. We can’t wait to see everyone next July, and we’ve got a LOT more surprises to come – so stay tuned!”

George Ezra Added To Tinderbox Bill

Tinderbox added another 10 names to the bill for next year’s festival in Odense, Denmark, June 22-24.

The list is led by George Ezra, who had originally been confirmed for last year’s festival but had to cancel last minute after losing his voice.

Ezra joins previously announced Maroon 5, who will headline Tinderbox 2023. Other new additions include Canadian rapper bbno, and L.A.-based rising artist Oliver Malcolm.

Every year, Tinderbox presents a range of national acts, showcasing the talent Denmark has to offer. Next year, that list will include Nik & Jay, Medina, Benjamin Hav, Familien, Jada, Tobias Rahim, PRISMA, and Blæst.

Full festival tickets are on sale at tinderbox.dk.
