Goose to Remain in Flight With 2023 Spring Tour
The jam session with Goose will continue in 2023 as the Connecticut-based band announced it will be headlining a 20-date spring tour beginning in March.
Coming off their “Dripfield Fall Tour” and performance at Austin City Limits in October, Goose will hit the road for a five-week spring tour that kicks off at Roadrunner in Boston and includes stops in Chicago, Nashville and San Francisco. The final show will be at the CalCoast Credit Union Open Air Theatre on April 29.
The band, which comprises Rick Mitarotonda, Peter Anspach, Trevor Weekz, Ben Atkind and Jeff Arevalo, remains hard at work to cap off what’s been a remarkable 2022. Goose released its critically acclaimed album in June and performed ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! Show. They will continue their annual “Goosemas” celebration with three sold-out shows in Colorado and a special two-night New Year’s Eve run at the Andrew J. Brady Music Center in Cincinnati. The quintet is scheduled to make their debut on NBC’s Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon tonight.
Jam band impresario Peter Shapiro previously told Pollstar that Goose “had the fastest rise of any band I’ve seen in this jam world since Phish,” and it certainly seems so as the band precedes its spring tour with performances at Playing in the Sand in Cancun, Mexico, and sold-out five-night run at the historic Capitol Theater in Port Chester, New York, from March 8-12.

The onsale for the general public goes live on Friday, Dec. 9, at 10 a.m.
