Bono Adds ‘Stories Of Surrender’ New York Dates Due To High Demand

Bono will be performing live at the Beacon Theatre in New York City for eight nights throughout April and May. The newly added shows will feature a performance from Bono celebrating his new bestselling book, “Surrender: 40 Songs, One Story.”

Bono’s previous date at Beacon Theatre in New York on Nov. 2 sold out, grossing $436,640,” according to reports submitted to Pollstar‘s Boxoffice. Bono also reportedly grossed $529,260 at the Chicago Theatre on Nov. 8.

“Surrender: 40 Songs, One Story” was released on Nov. 1, each chapter named after a U2 song . the first leg of Bono’s book tour took place across 14 cities in North America and Europe, with Bono singing songs and telling stories.

Back in 2019, U2 graced the cover of Pollstar as the “Artist of the Decade,” the abnd’s achievements making their mark on music history.

The dates kick off on April 16 and run through May 3, with tickets going on sale starting Dec. 15 at 10 a.m. ET.
