KISS Announces Final Ever UK Dates
KISS has today announced its final tour dates in the UK as part of the legendary rock band’s farewell tour, dubbed “End of Road Tour.”
The UK leg comprises six dates in total, starting with a June 3 performance at the Plymouth Argyle Home Park in England, and closing July 8 at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland. Full dates below.
The KISS “End of Road Tour” brings an epic and well-documented 50-year career to a close. Initially, the band’s retirement was announced in 2000, giving Elton John a run for his money in terms of the longest farewell in musical history.
“End of Road Tour” was originally scheduled to land in the UK in 2021, but had to be postponed for all the known reasons. Next year, the Rock & Roll Hall of Famers, who have sold more than 100 million albums worldwide, will finally make good on their promise.
“All that we have built and all that we have conquered over the past four decades could never have happened without the millions of people worldwide who’ve filled clubs, arenas and stadiums over those years. This will be the ultimate celebration for those who’ve seen us and a last chance for those who haven’t. KISS Army, we’re saying goodbye on our final tour with our biggest show yet and we’ll go out the same way we came in…Unapologetic and Unstoppable,” a band statement reads.
The artist and venue partner presale begins Tuesday, Dec. 13, 10 a.m. GMT, the general on-sale kicks off Friday Dec. 16 at the same time. VIP experience, including photo opportunities with the band, access to a pre-show lounge, and a behind the scenes tour, will be available.
Pollstar honored the impressive career of KISS in a special issue in February 2020.
