When Kaskade and deadmau5 joined forces to create Kx5, dance music fans knew they were witnessing something monumental. On Dec. 10, the two brought Kx5 to the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, the historic performance breaking records and becoming the largest single-day concert headlined by an electronic music artist in North America.

Last weekend witnessed 50,000 fans as Kaskade and deadmau5 took the stage to celebrate the venue’s 100th anniversary.

Both Kaskade and deadmau5 have been making waves in dance music since their careers began in the mid/late-2000s.

deadmau5 graced the cover of Pollstar last January to discuss his 2022 tour dates. The tour saw him making stops at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco (grossing $371,348, according to reports submitted to Pollstar‘s Boxoffice), Echostage in Washington, D.C. (selling out and grossing $156,000), The Sylvee in Madison, Wisconsin (grossing $129,756) and more.

Kaskade also performed at Echostage in Washignton, D.C. this year, grossing $118,390 for his show on Sept. 16. Other tour dates for this year saw him grossing $222,782 on April 24 at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel in Tampa.
