United Talent Agency has signed the global Brazilian pop star Anitta.

After first rising to fame six years ago, Anitta has teamed up with Saweetie for the single “Faking Love,” released four albums, and received a nomination for “Best Urban Album” at the 2019 Latin Grammy Awards.

“We are thrilled to work with Anitta and her team at S10,” UTA CEO Jeremy Zimmer said in a statement. “She is a brilliantly talented and charismatic star with a keen sense of the entertainment business. Her passion to work across multiple verticals like brands, fashion, television, and film, makes her a perfect match for the entrepreneurial team at UTA.”

Anitta is currently recording her fifth studio album, which will be the second time she releases a record with songs in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

“[I am] very excited to be joining Jeremy Zimmer and the whole team at UTA,” Anitta said in a statement. “Looking forward to working with them across all aspects of my career alongside my manager Brandon Silverstein and S10 Management.”

Anitta joined J Balvin, Cazzu and Wisin & Yandel at the Uforia Mix Live in Miami Fla. on Oct. 1, 2021, with the event selling 9,933 tickets and grossing $891,829, according to Pollstar Boxoffice Reports. Her headlining date at UnimedHall in Sao Paulo, Brazil on Oct. 27, 2019, sold 2,345 tickets and grossed $64,962, according to Pollstar Boxoffice Reports.

The 28-year-old singer first got signed to Warner Music Brazil with the success of her 2012 single, “Meiga e Abusada.” She rose to fame in Brazil with the release of her single “Show das Poderosas.”

Her collaboration with Major Lazer, “Sua Cara,” helped bring Anitta to international success. Her upcoming record, Girl from Rio, is expected to be released sometime in 2022 via Warner Music.
