CAA has signed Belgian electronic music DJ and record producer Amelie Lens. Highlights from her career include curating her own nights under the name EXHALE and launching her own label called Lenske.
Lens released her debut album on Italian imprint Lyase, followed by three releases on Pan-Pot’s label Second State. Her latest project is the 2022, EP In My Mind, via Lenske.
Last year she became the first female artist to put her spin on the famed Global Underground mix series with the No. 44 release. Other high-profile artists who have arranged the mix include Solomun, Carl Cox and Sasha.
As part of a podcast interview, the platform Resident Advisor praised Lens’ live performances, proclaiming that her “sets keep the energy high, moving through bomb after bomb of pulverizing beats new and old. And her fan base is rabid, the kind that packs out warehouses within minutes, generating rounds of cheers with the introduction of every hi-hat or acid line.”
Her 2022 schedule included an appearance at Decibel Open Air in Florence, Italy, which took place Sept. 10-11 and sold 45,216 tickets with a gross of $2.2 million.
Lens’ upcoming dates includes a Jan. 28 appearance at Awakenings Eindhoven By Night in Eindhoven, Netherlands, Feb. 10 at D!Club in Lausanne, Switzerland, and Feb. 18 EXHALE: ANTWERP in Antwerpen, Belgium.
She is managed by Markus Scholz at Macorma Artist Management.
