Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) will soon hit the high seas. Insomniac has unveiled plans to partner with Vibee and Sixthman for the debut of EDSea, with the four-night cruise scheduled to take its maiden voyage from Nov. 4-8. Attendees will depart from Miami and sail around the Bahamas on Norwegian Cruise Line’s Norweigan Joy, making stops in Nassau and Great Stirrup Cay.

In addition to seeing some of the foremost acts in dance music, EDSea will feature top-tier production that has come to be expected with Insomniac events and the EDC brand. The cruise also features go-kart, laser tag and an Aqua Park.

In the coming months, further information pertaining to the cruise’s lineup and expeditions to Nassau and Great Stirrup Cay will be unveiled. Eight marine-themed stages will transform EDC into an aquatic paradise. The expansion to the Caribbean celebrates Insomniac’s 30th anniversary.

EDC Las Vegas returned to its usual festival date in May last year, with 2021 seeing the event moved to October due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Last year’s festival featured performances from Kaskade and deadmau5’s collaborative project Kx5, Zeds Dead, Grimes, Porter Robinson and more.

Presale cabin reservations begin on Jan. 17 with general on-sale starting on Jan. 27 starting at $100 per person deposit.
