Dave Matthews Band Announces Summer Tour, New Album
Following another successful run last fall, Dave Matthews Band will hit the road this summer to coincide with the release of their 10th studio album, Walk Around the Moon.
The band will open the North American tour with three shows in Mexico and make its way to the U.S. performing at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in The Woodlands, Texas on May 19 — the same date the new album is scheduled to be released on RCA Records.
The 45-date tour includes stops in Forest Hills, New York — a first for the band — as well as Los Angeles, Dallas and Nashville. Dave Matthews Band will play two-night stands in nine cities and will close out their run with three shows at Gorge Amphitheatre in George, Washington.
Members of the DMB Warehouse Fan Association have first dibs on the tickets and can purchase tickets online at www.warehouse.davematthewsband.com. Dave Matthews Band continues its partnership with The Nature Conservancy and has contributed to three million trees being planted since 2020, and the group expects that total increase to four million trees this year.
According to box office reports submitted to Pollstar, Dave Matthews Band recently had a remarkable two-night sold-out showing at New York’s Madison Square Garden, selling 31,597 tickets and grossing more than $3.5 million.
