Young The Giant Hits The Road This Summer With Milky Chance
Young the Giant is playing an extended tour this summer with 50 dates across North America starting May 30 until Aug. 31. Throughout the run the band plans to play iconic venues including Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado, The Rooftop at Pier 17 in New York City and more.
Milky Chance is joining Young the Giant as the tour’s openers on each date, with TALK and Rosa Linn joining on select dates as special guests. The band is partnering with REVERB to limit their carbon footprint while on the road.
Young the Giant will kick things off at Place Bell in Montreal, hten they’ll head to Toronto, New York City and more. They will then make their way across North America with stops in Atlanta, Cleveland, Austin, Miami, San Francisco and more. The tour wraps up at Dillon Amphitheater in Dillon, Colorado on Aug. 31.
Last fall, Young the Giant played a theater run across North America with highlights including two electric, sold-out nights at New York City’s Beacon Theatre on Oct. 21 and 22, grossing $231,715, according to reports submitted to Pollstar‘s Boxoffice. They then headed over to YouTube Theater in Inglewood, California on Nov. 12, grossing $263,875.
Young the Giant released thier first album in four years, American Bollywood, last fall. Their setlist on their album tour not only saw the band performing the new songs, but hits from throughout their career.
Tickets go on sale starting Feb. 3 at 10 a.m. local. Fans will have access to presale tickets from Jan. 31 at 10 a.m. local time through Feb. 2 at 10 p.m. local time.
VIP packages for the tour include a private pre-show performance and Q&A with the band, premium tickets, an exclusive signed poster, early venue entry and more. VIP packages go on sale starting Jan. 31 at 10 a.m. local time.
