The Smile, a proto-punk band comprising Radiohead’s Thom Yorke and Johnny Greenwood, is back on the road this summer with 14 North American shows following a successful run in 2022.

Drummer Tom Skinner, Yorke and Greenwood will kick off their summer tour with the band’s first-ever show in Mexico City on June 22. The trio will also make stops in Austin, Miami, New York, Philadelphia and Kansas City before closing the run at The Factory in Chesterfield, Missouri.

The Smile will also release an EP titled Europe: Live Recordings 2022 that includes live performances of songs from the band’s debut album, A Light For Attracting Attention. The limited edition EP will be released on March 10 via XL Recordings and will only be available on vinyl.

To support the release of their debut effort, the band went on a European tour last summer and later added a North American leg. According to box office reports submitted to Pollstar, The Smile played two sold-out shows in December, selling 2,284 tickets and grossing nearly $176,000 at Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee, on Dec. 3 and raking in $167,718 with 2,540 tickets sold at Chicago’s Riviera Theatre on Dec. 1.
