Kygo and his manager, Myles Shear, continue bringing their tropical brand across the globe. The two are bringing the tropics to Doheny State Beach in Dana Point, California, for one day on May 13.

Palm Tree Music Festival Dana Point features performances from Ellie Goulding, Tove Lo, The Midnight, The Knocks, Two Feet, Forester and, of course, Kygo himself on May 13. They’ll be performing beach-side, marking the first time the festival is taking place on real sand.

“We are thrilled to bring the Palm Tree Music Festival experience beachside at Dana Point,” Kygo said in a statement. “The tropical lifestyle isn’t just our brand, it’s a way of life, and we couldn’t be more excited to finally hit the sand with our community to start the summer season with good vibes and great music.”

The Palm Tree Crew teams up with Live Nation for the Dana Point festival. Fans who purchase VIP tickets have the opportunity to take full advantage of the new festival’s beach-side setting with the “Palm Tree Beach Club,” where they can relax in shaded cabanas, hammocks and more.

“Since our inception, the goal of Palm Tree Music Festival has been to create incredible experiences that bring together our close friends and community through music and a never-ending summer state of mind,” Shear said in a statement. “We’re proud to bring this experience to Dana Point in partnership with Live Nation and to share the tropical lifestyle with a new audience.”

In addition to the Dana Point event, Palm Tree Festival will take place in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Bali through mid-March. Over the weekend of Feb. 24, Shear and Kygo are teaming up with Belly Up Aspen founders David and Danny Goldberg to bring some palmy weather to Aspen.
