Yeah Yeah Yeahs To Hit The Road This Summer With The Faint & Perfume Genius

Yeah Yeah Yeahs are plotting their summer tour with support from The Faint and Perfume Genius. The upcoming trek features dates across North America throughout May and June before heading overseas in July for a weekend in Japan and several shows through Europe in August.

They kick the shows off on May 3 at The Anthem in Washington, D.C., with stops in Atlanta, Houston, Salt Lake City, Chicago, Minneapolis and more before wrapping the U.S. leg on June 10 at The Greek Theatre in Berkeley, California. The Faint joins them on May 7 at 713 Music Hall in Houston, while Perfume Genius opens at Armory in Minneapolis, Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado, Marymoor Live in Redmond, Washington, McMenamins Edgefield in Troutdale, Oregon, and The Greek Theatre in Berkeley.

From July 28 to 30, Yeah Yeah Yeahs will be in Yuzawa, Japan, for Fuji Rock Festival. Their European dates start on Aug. 25 at All Points East in London and include shows in Paris and Amsterdam before closing out the tour at Columbiahalle in Berlin on Aug. 29.

Last year, Yeah Yeah Yeahs performed in the UK, Spain, Australia and the United States. Highlights from the trek included a show at O2 Apollo Manchester on June 5, grossing the band $162,677, and two nights at O2 Academy Brixton in London on June 7 and 8, grossing a total of $441,678, according to reports submitted to Pollstar‘s Boxoffice. Wet Leg opened during two dates in Australia over the summer, and the band played at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, New York, and the Hollywood Bowl in October.

Tickets for their upcoming dates go on sale starting Feb. 10 at 10 a.m. local time.
