Veteran Agent Dave Kaplan Joins Paladin Artists

Veteran agent Dave Kaplan has joined Paladin Artists effective immediately, bringing with him more than 20 clients and decades of agency experience, Paladin announced today (Feb. 16).

Kaplan comes to Paladin after runs with ICM Partners, Paradigm, and 13 years at The Agency Group, where he was vice president of the agency’s New York office. 

The move reunites Kaplan with Paladin co-founder Steve Martin, who with Andy Somers co-founded Paladin Artists in 2021.

Kaplan began his music industry career as a concert promoter and talent buyer in San Francisco before operating his own booking agency, East Action Industries, which eventually merged with The Agency Group in 2002.

“I am very excited to join the amazing team at Paladin,” says Kaplan. “I have known and worked with Steve Martin and Andy Somers for over twenty years. They are true good guys in this industry and I’m so happy to be back in the trenches with them!”
