Baja Beach Fest Returns To Rosarito Beach In August
Baja Beach Fest announced they are returning to Rosarito Beach, Mexico, for three days on Aug. 11-13. This year sees the festival celebrating its fifth anniversary.
While the lineup still has yet to be announced, last year’s festival featured performances from Daddy Yankee, Annual AA, Farruko, Banda MS, Natanael Cano and more.
In 2021, Baja Beach Fest’s founders, Aaron Ampudia and Chris Den Uijl sat down with Pollstar to discuss the festival’s return following the COVID-19 pandemic. The duo brought in a Ferris wheel for the festival, as well as glam stations, a hammock village and more. Last year then saw Ampudia and Den Uijl partner with C3 Presents to launch Sueños Music Festival in Chicago for a complete reggaeton takeover in Grant Park.
“For Baja and Sueños, we always listen to our fans,” Ampudia told Pollstar in an interview last May to discuss their new venture. “I think that’s one thing we do really well.”
Sueños is also returning to Grant Park this year on May 27 and 28, with Wisin Y Yandel, Feid, Grupo Firme and Nicky Jam leading the lineup.
Presale tickets for this year’s Baja Beach Fest go on sale starting Feb. 28 at 12 p.m. PT.
