Weezer To Embark On Indie Rock Roadtrip With Modest Mouse, Momma, Future Islands & More

Weezer is getting ready for their next road trip, and this time they plan on inviting Modest Mouse, Momma, Future Islands, Joyce Manor, Spoon and White Reaper to join them as they set out across North America.

The 30-date tour kicks off in Huntsville, Alabama on June 4, with Weezer stopping in Austin, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, Toronto, Pittsburgh, New York City, Denver, Phoenix, Las Vegas and more before wrapping up in San Diego on Sept. 3

Modest Mouse and Momma join Weezer for the first round of dates running from June 4 to June 18. Future Islands and Joyce Manor then join from June 23 until July 13 (Future Islands will not appear on Weezer’s July 9 date in Gary, Indiana), with Spoon and White Reaper opening from Aug. 20 until the tour’s final date on Sept. 3.

Last summer, Weezer continued “The Hella Mega Tour” along with Green Day and Fall Out Boy in Europe. The three bands hit stadiums throughout the continent, with highlights seeing them gross $3.5 million in Dublin on June 27, $3.3 million in Vienna on June 19, and more.

Tickets for Weezer’s upcoming trek go on sale starting March 3 at 10 a.m. local time.
