Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter and producer Tems is now being represented by Creative Artists Agency in all areas worldwide.

The signing follows her recent win at the Grammy Awards for Best Melodic Rap Performance for her feature on Future and Drake’s No. 1 hit “WAIT FOR U.” The award marks the first Grammy win for the artist born in Lagos, Nigeria, as Temilade Openiyi. She’s also earned Grammy nominations for Album of the Year for her work on Beyoncé’s Renaissance and Best Global Music Performance for her feature on Wizkid’s “Essence.”

She recently became the first Nigerian artist to be nominated for an Academy Award for her work on the song “Lift Me Up,” which was performed by Rihanna on Marvel’s “Black Panther – Wakanda Forever” soundtrack.

Her other accolades include two NAACP Image Awards, two BET Awards, two American Music Awards, a Soul Train Music Award, Silver Clef Award for Best International Act, and the Impact Prize at the BMI awards.

Tems is due to release her debut album through Sony/RCA as the follow-up to her EPs, 2021’s If Orange Was a Place and 2020’s For Broken Ears. An announcement from CAA promises tour dates are coming as she “will embark on her first worldwide headline tour while playing major festivals all across the world.”

Her confirmed 2023 schedule includes appearances at Paris’ We Love Green Festival June 4 and Governors Ball Music Festival in Corona, New York, June 9.
