Blue Note Napa Announces 2023 Outdoor Season At Silverado Resort

This year moving to a new, larger footprint, the outdoor Blue Note Summer Sessions concert season will feature Les Claypool, Marlon Wayans, Dwight Yoakam, St. Paul & The Broken Bones, Belinda Carlisle, Carla Morrison, Tower of Power, Rufus Wainwright, Chris Botti and others from at the Silverado Resort in Napa Valley in northern California.

General onsale begins Thursday, March 9, with more shows to be announced.

The move to Silverado Resort in Napa Valley follows a two-year run at a local winery, which last year featured artists such as Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Tommy Emmanuel, Chris Botti, Damien Escobar and Jake Shimabukuro.

The new space offers a capacity of 1,500 as well as housing and lodging amenities. The resort is located just off the Silverado Trail just north of San Francisco. The series will feature a new stage constructed within a meadow above the first and 18th hole of the resort’s PGA-certified golf course.

“Napa has been known for quite some time for its world-class wine, over the last fifteen years it has also become known for its equally high-level culinary experience,” said Blue Note Napa managing director Ken Tesler. “Our goal is to bring the third pillar of the arts to Napa year-round and ensure it is known as a center for the finest of all types of world-class music. I hope all of our venues including the Blue Note Napa, the JaM Cellars Ballroom, our Summer Sessions, the Blue Note Jazz Festival, and finally Oxbow RiverStage together make that a reality.”
