The Cure’s ‘Shows Of A Lost World’ Heads To North America
With their European dates wrapped up, The Cure’s “Shows Of A Lost World Tour” sets its sights on North America throughout the spring and summer. The 30-date run features support from The Twilight Sad at each stop.
Both Los Angeles and New York City will enjoy three nights of The Cure as the band takes over the Hollywood Bowl March 23-25 and Madison Square Garden from June 20-22. The tour kicks off on May 10 in New Orleans, with stops in Houston, Dallas, Phoenix, San Francisco, Seattle, Denver, Chicago, Toronto, Boston, Atlanta and more before wrapping in Miami on July 1.
The Cure wrapped up their European dates with three sold-out shows at OVO Arena Wembley in London from Dec. 11-13, grossing a total $2.8 million, according to reports submitted to Pollstar‘s Boxoffice. Other highlights from the tour include a sold-out show in Leeds, United Kingdom, on Dec. 6, grossing $828,850. The band also made splashes in Cologne, Germany, and Dublin, grossing $965,763 and $954,203, respectively.
Tickets will be available via Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan Sale on March 15. Registration closes at 10 a.m. PT on March 15. The band set all ticket prices, with no platinum or dynamically priced tickets available save for a few charity seats at select locations.
