Amazon Music to Livestream J. Cole’s Dreamville Festival

Fans unable to secure general admission tickets to J. Cole’s Dreamville Festival need not fret for Amazon Music will exclusively livestream the two-day event taking place April 1-2 at Dorothea Dix Park in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Multiplatinum hip-hop star J. Cole and his Dreamville team partnered with Rotation, Amazon Music’s hip-hop and R&B brand, to deliver the festival experience via television and mobile devices. Fans can watch one of the most anticipated music events of the year on Prime Video or Amazon Music’s Twitch channel starting at 2 p.m. EST on each day.

“Great to be back with our Amazon Music family as they help us broadcast this year’s Dreamville Festival to millions of fans worldwide,” Adam Roy, Dreamville cofounder and Festival president, said in a statement.

Usher will headline the first night of Dreamville, and other artists performing throughout the day include Lil Durk, Ari Lennox, City Girls, Sean Paul, EARTHGANG, Jessie Reyez and Key Glock.

Sunday also boasts an impressive lineup with Burna Boy, Summer Walker, J.I.D., GloRilla, Bas, Waka Flocka Flame and Mario.

Of course, J. Cole himself will close out the Dreamville Festival on Sunday night and will have rap superstar Drake as a guest on stage to perform hits from their catalogs.

Amazon Music’s livestream will be hosted by music journalist and “Rotation Roundtable” host Rob Markman, Gia Peppers and hip-hop industry veteran Wayno.

“Dreamville Festival has made itself one of the biggest hip-hop moments of the year, and after last year’s incredible performances, we at Rotation knew we needed to stream the festival for fans around the world a second year running,” said Tim Hinshaw, head of hip-hop and R&B for Amazon Music. “This year’s lineup is unparalleled, with icons like Usher, Burna Boy, Ari Lennox, Lil Durk, Summer Walker, GloRilla all coming together during one weekend. And J. Cole sharing the stage with Drake is one of those historic hip-hop moments that people will talk about for decades to come. Rotation is honored to bring this iconic collaboration to as many fans as possible.”
