Classic rock guitarist Peter Frampton is back on the road after announcing he was retiring from touring in 2019, with the “Never Say Never Tour” kicking off in June and with dates across the U.S.

Tickets will be available Friday, April 14.

“At the end of every Finale Tour show I did say, ‘Never Say Never’ and I am always full of hope for the impossible,” Frampton said in the release. “I’m very pleased to let you know that I am feeling strong and my fingers are still roaming the fretboard. Every note I play now has more meaning and soul. I love playing live and this fighter wants to stay in the ring for as long as he can. I’m so happy to be able to see you all one more time this summer. Much love, Peter.”

In 2019, Frampton announced he was retiring from touring after being diagnosed with a degenerative muscular disease, which affected his ability to play guitar and perform. A European leg of his farewell tour was canceled amid COVID.

Dates on the new tour kick off June 21 at Rose Music Center at the Heights in Huber Heights, Ohio, and include dates at venues and markets such as Red Hat Amphitheater in Raleigh, Saint Augustine Amphitheatre in Florida, hard Rock Live Orlando, MGM Music Hall Fenway in Boston, the Pearl in Las Vegas and others.

In January, Frampton performed a special one-off show at at Nashville’s Tucker Theatre at Middle Tennessee State University, which was filmed for a TV special.
