Avenged Sevenfold is gearing up for their “Live is But A Dream” North American tour, and the band unveiled its second leg. The newly added dates include stops in Tampa, Nashville, Denver, Salt Lake City, Austin and more.

Falling In Reverse joins Avenged Sevenfold for the second leg, with Alexisonfire tagging along for the first leg.

The new dates kick off on Sept. 16 in West Palm Beach, Florida at iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre. The tour includes stops at amphitheaters and arenas, with Avenged Sevenfold taking the stage at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville and Ball Arena in Denver. The tour wraps up on Oct. 15 in Fort Worth, Texas, at Dickies Arena.

Tickets for the newly announced dates will be available with presale through the Deathbats Club and TicketPass. Fans will use their Dapp wallet (which utilizes cryptocurrency including MetaMask, Coinbase, etc.) to authenticate their access and submit a request for a ticket. They will receive a confirmation from Ticketmaster if their tickets have been secured, with token-holding fans given exclusive access. Deathbats Club community members will have priority access.

“TicketPass will by no means cost anyone any money, you won’t have to get involved in cryptocurrency, you won’t have to do any of these things that people feel uncomfortable with, and the token that we’re going to be using is on the Polygon network — an environmentally-friendly blockchain,” M. Shadows of Avenged Sevenfold said in a statement. “We want to roll something out to the rest of our fan base without them having to opt into a full fan club experience that is strictly for tickets and ensuring our fans get the best tickets they desire first.”

With ticketing a major topic of conversation this year, Avenged Sevenfold hopes this new system will prevent scalpers and allow tickets to land in the hands of fans.

“At the end of the day, we want to know your feedback on if this worked well for you, and we will take notes and mold this for you,” M. Shadows said in a statement. “Look at thsi as a frequent flier miles type of program — with Avenged Sevenfold, we will be breaking these passes into ‘tiers’ over time and rewarding the people who have been participating the most in our A7X ecosystem (with merchandise, listening habits, music consumption, live events and other metrics).”

Avenged Sevenfold last went on tour in 2018, with submitted dates to Pollstar‘s Boxoffice including a $181,338 gross at The SSE Arena in Belfast, United Kingdom, on June 6, 2018. Their Canadian dates in Feb. 2018 included a $599,260 gross at Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta on Feb. 15 and a $473,593 gross at P.N.E. Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver on Feb. 17.

General onsale for tickets begins on April 14 at 10 a.m. local time.
