‘Rendez-Vous Á Paris’: Usher Announces La Seine Musicale Residency
Following 50-plus sold-out shows in Las Vegas, Usher has announced an exclusive four-date residency in Paris, France, at La Seine Musicale, Sept. 24-28, during Paris Fashion Week.
Dubbed “Rendez-Vous Á Paris,” the show will feature Usher’s biggest hits from a incredibly successful 30-year career, including “Yeah!,” “My Boo,” “Love In This Club.”
A Visit To Paris’ Island Of Music: La Seine Musicale
The show promises “never-before-seen costumes and state-of-the-art lighting and special effects,” according to the announcement from promoter Live Nation, which adds that “the series of shows during Paris Fashion Week at La Seine Musicale is the sole, exclusive opportunity to experience Usher’s highly sought after in demand show in Europe.”
Fan presale starts April 19 at 10 a.m. local time; Live Nation, Ticketmaster and Venue presales begin April 20 at 10 a.m.; the remainder goes on sale April 21 at 10 a.m.
Usher just finish performing more than 50 sold-out shows in Las Vegas, first at The Colosseum At Caesars Palace, between June 2021 and a final New Year’s Eve show on Jan. 1, 2022, then at Dolby Live at Park MGM between July 2022 and October.
A glance at Pollstar’s Boxoffice shows, that all shows grossed around the $1 million mark. Part three of Usher’s Las Vegas residency, again at Dolby Live, is currently underway until summer. The first box office reports should be in soon.
