All Things Live & Thomas Ovesen Partner In The Middle East

Thomas Ovesen, one of the most experienced live entertainment execs in the Middle East, will serve as CEO of the newly formed All Things Live Middle East business.

All Things Live (ATL), one of the fastest-expanding live entertainment businesses in Europe, and Thomas Ovesen, a veteran in the Middle Eastern live entertainment scene, have joined forces.

Ovesen, who has more than 20 years of expertise in and knowledge about promoting in the region, will serve as the CEO of the new entity, which will simply be called All Things Live Middle East.

Both ATL and Ovesen have collaborated in the past. They share “a desire to fast-track long-term plans, increase synergies, and seize opportunities across the region,” according to a press release announcing the partnership.

‘The Dawn Of A New Era’ – The Middle East Is Open For Business

The artists Ovesen has brought into the Middle Eastern markets include Justin Bieber, Eagles, Guns N’ Roses, Jennifer Lopez, Elton John, 50 Cent, and Ed Sheeran.

All Things Live, which launched in 2018 with a focus on the Nordics, today has more than 270 employees internationally and covers “the full entertainment spectrum,” by its own admission, “from local Norwegian acts, Swedish musical productions, and Danish standup events to stadium concerts with international artists such as Sam Smith, Green Day, Rammstein, and Eminem.”

The creation of ATL Middle East is the latest in a series of business expansions by ATL. Under Ovesen’s leadership, ATL will benefit from strong relationships with the best-placed promoters and operators across the region, and aims to become the go-to for talent agents and managers.

“We have watched attentively as a vibrant music and entertainment scene has grown in the Middle East with great contributions from hard-working and entrepreneurial industry leaders such as Thomas Ovesen,” said Kim Worsoe, member of the Executive Board of All Things Live Group, adding, “When we decided to expand into the region, we were intent on partnering with Thomas, and I am excited for the future with him leading what promises to be a regional powerhouse. ATL Middle East confirmed it will announce its first events set to take place across the region “in the coming year.”
