Coachella Wings Another EDM Headliner: Skrillex, Four Tet & Fred Again.. Close Out Weekend Two

Coachella unveiled its replacement headliners for weekend two, with blink-182 moving to the main stage. Skrillex, Four Tet and Fred again.., nicknamed Pangbourne House Mafia among fans, will be closing out Coachella on Sunday night. The festival unveiled its official schedule for weekend two, with blink-182 taking the stage at 9:20 p.m. and “TBA” closing out the show at 10:25.

Rumors that Skrillex, Four Tet and Fred Again.. would potentially take on Coachella began swirling on Wednesday, April 19. When the festival unveiled its official schedule change Thursday night, the trio took to their social media pages teasing “TBA.”

Over the past few months, the dance music supergroup has been making waves. In February, they landed in New York for a few days, throwing up multiple surprise sets in Brooklyn, Times Square and Madison Square Garden. Their show at The Garden featured zero support, instead the trio taking the stage for five hours.

blink-182 has also been promoted to the main stage. The band performed at Sahara last weekend to a packed crowd that spilled out to the merchandise booths.

Ocean pulled out of Coachella on Wednesday, citing an ankle injury from preventing him to perform. When he took the stage last Sunday, he arrived an hour past the scheduled time. Variety reported that Ocean was dropping out of the festival, with blink-182 replacing him on the main stage.

Coachella returns to the desert April 21 to 23.
