LL Cool J to Headline Ultimate Hip-Hop Mash-Up Tour: ‘The F.O.R.C.E. (Frequencies of Real Creative Energy) Live’

LL Cool J has curated the lineup for a special tour celebrating hip-hop culture featuring The Roots, DJ Jazzy Jeff and DJ Z-Trip, along with special guests in select cities including Queen Latifah, Salt-N-Pepa, Big Boi, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Common, De La Soul and more. “The F.O.R.C.E. (Frequencies of Real Creative Energy) Live” – which is presented by Rock The Bells and Live Nation Urban – marks LL Cool J’s first headline arena tour in 30 years. 

Real Creative Energy says it all – this is no ordinary show. An announcement explains the show “will be a nonstop musical mash up with artist performances interwoven within one continuous musical set backed by The Roots.”

The rotating list of special guests in select cities also includes Rakim,MC Lyte, Method Man & Redman, Ice T, Juvenile, Doug E. Fresh, Slick Rick, Goodie Mob, Jadakiss, Rick Ross and more.

 “I’m excited to be on my first Arena tour in 30 years,” LL Cool J said in a statement. “It’s proof that our culture is more viable than ever. Get ready for some non stop beats and rhymes. See you this summer!” 

The trek starts off June 25 at Boston’s TD Garden. Stops include Brooklyn, New York’s Barclays Center, Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena, Atlanta’s State Farm Arena, Cleveland’s Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse, New Orleans’s Smoothie King Center, Houston’s Toyota Center, San Francisco’s Chase Center and Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena. The last confirmed show is Sept. 3 at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California. 

That said, the announcement declares: “This is not a moment, it’s a movement. Be on the lookout for more.”

Following presales, the general onsale kicked off Friday, April 28 at 10 a.m. local time.
