blink-182 Announces Latin America Leg Of World Tour
Pop-punk luminaries blink-182 have announced a Latin American leg for their world tour, the band’s first with Tom DeLonge in nearly a decade.
The run includes rescheduled shows in Lima, Peru, and Mexico City, originally scheduled for March 2023 and now slated in March and April of 2024. The band is coming off a headlining performance on the second weekend of Coachella, with the world tour kicking off May 4 in Minneapolis.
The only scheduled dates for the 2024 loop through Mexico and South America are the rescheduled performances and an additional date in Mexico City. The band says there will also be shows at the three Lollapaloozas in Argentina, Chile and Brazil, along with performances at Colombia’s Estereo Picnic, Asuncionico in Paraguay and the Pal Norte Festival in Monterrey, Mexico.
The March 14, 2023, concert in Lima is now set for March 27, 2024, at Estadio San Marcos. The shows scheduled for March 28, 29 and 31, 2023, at Mexico City’s Sports Palace are now April 2, 3 and 5, 2024, with an additional show set for April 6.
The current routing of the world tour includes an astonishing 85 dates stretching from May 2023 to April 2024.
Tickets purchased for the originally scheduled Latin American dates will be valid for the new rescheduled March and April 2024 shows. A limited number of remaining tickets will go on sale for the Lima, Peru show on May 5 at 10 a.m. local time at blink182.com. Tickets will be available for the new April 6 Mexico City show starting with a Citibanamex presale May 8, followed by the general onsale on May 9 at 11 a.m. local time at blink182.com. Additionally, a limited number of remaining tickets will go on sale for the April 2, 3, and 5 Mexico City shows on May 9 at 11 a.m. local time, while supplies last.
