Ringo Starr Announces Fall All Starr Band Tour
Ringo Starr, this week’s Pollstar Cover Feature, today announced his 2023 fall U.S. tour dates for Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band, which follow the group’s spring run which kicks off May 19 at Pechanga Resort Casino in Temecula, CA. (full-dates below).
This year’s All-Starr line-up, the fifteenth iteration, features Steve Lukather (Toto), Colin Hay (Men At Work), Edgar Winter (Edgar Winter Band), Warren Ham (Toto, Kansas), Hamish Stuart (Average White Band), Gregg Bissonette (ELO, Joe Satriani and David Lee Roth).
The new Autumn dates include shows in Ontario, CA, Tucson, AZ and Albuquerque, NM, Thackerville, OK.
In addition to the spring and fall tour dates, last September Ringo released his EP3 with a a new video for the single “Everyone and Everything.” Additionally, in November, the group released, Ringo Starr And HIs All Starr Band Live at the Greek 2019 (Roccabella via BFD/The Orchard). In addition, Ringo created 500 life sized “Peace and Love” sculptures of his iconic hand symbol sold exclusively through Julien’s Auctions to benefit the Lotus Foundation.
In Pollstar’s recent cover story, Starr explained how much he still loves performing. “Well, I love to play. I love an audience,” he said. :This is a known fact. I love the audience, they love me. We have fun on tour. That’s what it’s all about. I don’t do this to be miserable. I have a lot of joy. I get a lot of joy and I just love doing it…..and I’ll be doing a lot of peace and love in your city soon, May, June, look me up!”
