Coldplay Announces Asia & Australia Tour Dates

Coldplay’s “Music Of The Spheres” continues on as the band announces November dates throughout Asia and Australia. The band newly announced dates in Tokyo, Kaoshiung, Jakarta, Perth and Kuala Lumpur.

The newly announced shows feature Coldplay performing in several cities, including Kaoshiung, Jakarta and Kuala Lumpur, for the first time. Their show in Perth also marks Coldplay’s first time in Western Australia since 2009.

Amy Shark and Thelma Plum will support Coldplay during their show in Perth. Supporting acts for the rest of the new dates will be announced in the coming months.

Coldplay’s “Music Of The Spheres Tour” has already been making waves across the globe with six shows at Estadio Monumental Antonio Vespucio Liberti in Buenos Aires from Oct. 25 to Nov. 8 grossing $49.69 million and another six shows at Estadio Ciero Pompeu de Toledo in Sao Paulo, Brazil between March 10 and March 18, grossing $40.1 million, according to reports submitted to Pollstar‘s Boxoffice.

The tour finds Coldplay teaming up with DHL as the official logistics partner, where the band aims to cut tour emissions by 50%.
