I Prevail, Killswitch Engage, Beartooth, Highly Suspect To Headline ShipRocked

The popular rock music-themed cruise ShipRocked unveiled its much-anticipated lineup Thursday, announcing I Prevail, Killswitch Engage, Beartooth, Highly Suspect, Code Orange and Badflower as the main acts.

Next year’s sold-out event — a unique cruise vacation from Feb. 4-10 that features musical performances and collaborations and departs from Miami to visit Ocho Rios in Jamaica, Bimini in the Bahamas and Grand Cayman — will also have Black Stone Cherry, BRKN LOVE, Cassyette, Catch Your Breath, Crobot, Dayseeker, Dead Poet Society, Dorothy, Eva Under Fire, From Ashes To Anew, Scene Queen, Tigercub, The Warning, Winona Fighter and Yonaka. The Stowaways will be onboard to deliver a special performance as well as Johnny Stevens of Highly Suspect, and more performers are to be announced.

Producer and creator Alan Koenig of ASK4 Entertainment says the 2024 lineup “might just be my favorite.”

“We work hard to provide a big tent for the incredible range of talent that exists in the world of rock music, and I couldn’t be more proud and excited about the variety of artists who will be vacationing harder with our guests in February!” Koenig says in a statement.

Brian Berkheiser of I Prevail adds, “ShiRocked is an institution. And the fact we get to headline is a blessing. We are definitely ready to give all the ShipRockers a kickass show.”

The most recent ShipRocked, which happened in January, had more than 4,000 guests, a record for the event, and the 2024 edition of the event sold out in three days, well before the lineup was announced. Fans also participated in an onboard charity auction and raised $125,000 for cancer research this year.

Attendees of the cruise have developed a sense of community, one that Caleb Shomo of Beartooth enjoys interacting with.

“We’ve played ShipRocked a few times, and every time it’s hard to grasp how much of a family everybody feels like out there. Many attendees are returning customers, which is a good sign of a great event. Playing out in the open water is a pretty wild feeling; nothing can come close to that.”

Though next year’s event is sold out, fans who missed out on passes can sign up for the waitlist at ShipRocked.com.
