U2 Adds Eight Dates to Las Vegas Sphere Run, Bringing Total to 25
U2 continues adding dates to its extended “U2: UV Achtung Baby Live At Sphere,” run – don’t call it a residency – in Las Vegas with eight new dates, bringing the total to 25 shows that will kick off the concert experience at Sphere at the Venetian resort.
The new dates take the run from its Sept. 29 debut – which promises to be like nothing seen before – through Nov. 4. The Sphere, a literal description of the venue’s shape, is outfitted with the latest in video and audio tech capable of providing a fully immersive experience for fans. Given U2’s love of spectacle, it should be a can’t-miss experience.
With more than 1 million ticket request registrations already taken, only those who have previously registered and received a code can purchase tickets for the newly announced dates. Tickets start at $140 and reflect all-in pricing. Fans who have registered will be notified fia email about how to purchase tickets.
The performances mark U2’s first live shows in four years, and the only opportunity fans will have to see “Achtung Baby Live” in Las Vegas as the Irish band celebrates 40 years since the release of the acclaimed album.
The band first confirmed the shows with an ad during the Super Bowl back in February. On April 24, they announced the first round of dates, adding several more shows the following day.
