Veteran publicist Hillary Smoot has made the move to the Schneider Rondan Organization (SRO PR), where she will serve as Las Vegas Director and Senior Account Executive. Smoot, who has nearly 30 years of experience in the business, will be bringing along several clients in entertainment and hospitality such as Feld Entertainment Inc. which includes “Disney On Ice” and “Monster Jam.”

Her other clients include Las Vegas-based restaurants and venues Hash House A Go Go, Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux, Vic’s Las Vegas, Stoney’s Rockin’ Country, and the soon-to-open Stoney’s North Forty, as well as the  Pacific Beach, California restaurant Backyard Kitchen & Tap.

The news was announced Monday by SRO PR’s partners Marcee Rondan and Mitch Schneider, who opened the company’s Las Vegas office three years ago.

“Hillary and I met two years ago in Las Vegas through our mutual friend and associate, publicist Laura Herlovich,” Schneider said in a statement. “I was immediately struck by Hillary’s abundance of passion, skills, knowledge and super-tight relationships with the media.” Schneider adds, “We stayed in touch via lunches and meet-ups, which then evolved into a working relationship when we both came together to handle the Nice Hospitality Group in late 2022. Working closely with Hillary on that account really planted the seed for us to combine forces in a bigger way at SRO PR. I truly feel it’s limitless as to what we can achieve together.”

Smoot most recently created Red Moon PR, where she oversaw PR campaigns for West Hollywood’s Viper Room, Los Angeles’ El Dorado Cantina, and Red Mercury Entertainment’s shows including “Purple Reign” and “MJ Live,” among others. Her experience includes serving at several Las Vegas PR agencies where she worked with clients including HISTORY’s “Pawn Stars,” Feld Entertainment’s “Disney On Ice,” “Supercross,” “Marvel Universe LIVE!” and “Monster Jam,” along with restaurants; production shows, celebrities, and entertainers such as Boyz II Men. She also held PR executive positions at the Tropicana Las Vegas and Luxor Las, as well as working with the Arena Football League’s Las Vegas Gladiators and the ECHL’s Las Vegas Wranglers.

“I’m thrilled to join an iconic agency with such a stellar reputation,” Smoot said. “Mitch and Marcee have presented a significant opportunity for expansion, and I look forward to enhancing a mutually successful partnership in Las Vegas and beyond.”

SRO PR has offices in Los Angeles, Nashville, Las Vegas, and Phoenix, headed by Marcee Rondan, Lyndie Wenner, Mitch Schneider, and Kelly Walsh, respectively. The company started in 1995 as MSO and rebranded as SRO in 2019 after Rondan was promoted to partner.
