Music Midtown will return to Atlanta’s Piedmont Park September 15-17 with headline performances from P!NK, Billie Eilish and Guns n’ Roses.

P!NK will be joined by Flume on that top line on night one; The 1975 will support Eilish on the second day; and Lil Baby will set up Axl & Co. on the final night.

The festival will also include performances from Pitbull, Thirty Seconds To Mars, Incubus and The National Parks, among others.

Tickets go on sale May 18. Three-day general admission tickets begin at $350.

The 2023 return comes after last year’s edition was canceled for vague “circumstances beyond our control” less than a month before the festival. Live Nation was mum on what those “circumstances” were, but multiple sources pointed to Georgia’s permissive gun laws — in particular the state’s Safe Carry Protection Act, known colloquially as the “guns everywhere” law — and the actions of a litigious Peach State pro-gun activist, who won a decision that private events on public land were unable to bar guns.

It’s unclear if festival organizers were able to square that circle. An inability to enforce a firearms prohibition would make it difficult for a festival to find an insurance underwriter, but flouting a court ruling isn’t a recipe for success either.

The festival’s FAQ does say “weapons and explosives of any kind” are prohibited.
