Eric Clapton Announces Six UK Dates For 2024
Following the announcement of a limited tour through North America in September, Eric Clapton added six shows in the UK for 2024.
The six-date run kicks off May 9, 2024, at Utilita Arena Newcastle, England, and finishes with two nights at London’s Royal Albert Hall, May 20-21, 2024. Full itinerary below.
Clapton last performed at the Royal Albert Hall this past May 22-23 to join fellow musicians in honoring the late Jeff Beck with two nights of tribute concerts.
His last regular solo show at the Hall dates back a year, May 7-8, 2022 – sold out, according to the Pollstar Boxoffice, with 9,818 tickets sold for a gross of $1,693,746.
Clapton’s most recent European dates include short visits to Italy and Switzerland, including two nights at Unipol Arena in Bologna, Italy, Oct. 9-10, grossing a total of $2,512,698 on 28,110 tickets, and a sold-out Hallenstadion in Zurich (10,805 tickets, $1,794,710 gross).
His most recent stops in North America: a pair of sellouts at Madison Square Garden, Sept. 18-19, grossing $3,948,213 on 23,598 tickets.
