Tool Announces Fall Arena Tour

unnamed 3

Heavy rock titans Tool have announced a lengthy fall tour leg of arenas mostly in secondary markets across the U.S. and Canada to go along with previously announced festival headlining appearances.

The dates kick off Oct. 3 at Budweiser Event Center in Colorado, which is followed by two California festivals – Aftershock in California and the Power Trip event taking place at the same SoCal site as Coachella and featuring fellow rock royalty for an apparently one-time-only affair.

Tool’s fall dates will continue into late November, with markets and venues including Salt Lake City, Spokane, Tacoma, Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg, and East Coast dates including TD Garden in Boston and two nights at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.

The announcement follows Tool’s performances at Danny Wimmer Presents’ Welcome to Rockville Florida event and Sonic Temple in Ohio.

Tickets for all non-festival shows go on sale Friday, June 9. Fanclub presales start June 8.

The band has become a fixture on the road, an enduring career in heavy music that few have been able to sustain at the arena level and beyond. The band’s 2020 tour was one of the first to be interrupted by COVID, with March dates taking place in the Pacific Northwest before the world shut down.

The band returned to major markets and arenas in 2022, with a lengthy European leg as well. In 2022, the band reported $43.1 million grossed on just shy of 400,000 tickets sold for 34 shows.
