Rise Against, Rancid Lead Bill For Jawbreaker’s 1234Fest

Curated by members of emo progenitors Jawbreaker, the inaugural 1234Fest is coming to Denver and Philadelphia in September

Rise Against, Rancid and Descendents will join Blake Schwarzenbach et al. at the top of the bill.

The bill also includes Joyce Manor, Pussy Riot and the Dillinger Four.

The Denver edition is set for September 9 at The JunkYard and September 23 at Philadelphia’s Freedom Mortgage Pavilion.

“We wanted to put on the anti-festival. This isn’t 200 bands on 10 stages. It feels like an insanely stacked lineup you’d see at hall shows back in the day and all of these bands have approached it that way. No egos, no rockstar bulls**t. We have an arena headliner, legends and heroes sharing a stage with new blood and a groundbreaking women powered band. This is punk rock,” – West Bay Invitational’s Rich Egan said.

Citi card and artist presales begin 10 a.m Eastern June 20 with presales throughout the week ahead of the general onsale at 10 a.m. local June 23 via Ticketmaster.
