Wasserman Music has named former SiriusXM Communications Director Jason Roth to the post of Vice President, Communications, the company announced today (June 21).
Coming on the heels of Wasserman Music’s second anniversary, the addition of Roth marks the latest expansion for the company that formed in 2021 with the acquisition of Paradigm Talent Agency’s music assets. Since January, company has named 13 agents and, in November, opened a new Brooklyn office.
Roth brings deep experience managing strategic communications in the fields of music, entertainment and technology.
In his new role, Roth will lead Wasserman Music’s overall communications strategy – encompassing media relations, executive communications, thought leadership, industry relations, and partner communications – in collaboration with the company’s marketing, social media, and internal communications teams.
A veteran music and technology PR executive, Roth has held senior communications roles at SiriusXM, Pandora, Apple, HP, and Capitol Records. At Apple, Roth led global communications for iTunes as it expanded to more than 100 countries and helped to launch the App Store, Apple TV, iCloud, and other Apple products.
At Capitol, Roth led publicity for major music artists, including LCD Soundsystem, the Decemberists, Liz Phair, Doves, Yellowcard, Dandy Warhols, Sean Lennon, and the Beatles catalog.

“Jason’s breadth of communications experience with music-related brands, technology, and artists will be invaluable for the strategic development and messaging of Wasserman Music’s growth on a global scale. He is a tremendous addition to our company and culture – we’re thrilled to have him on board,” Wasserman CMO Lori Beth Feldman said in making the announcement.
