CAA Announces Six Promotions In Various Departments
Creative Artists Agency announced promotions in various departments on Friday, promoting Yasi Agahnia, Logan Binstock, Abe Coelho, Ryan Quint and Karen Schillinger to agents in their respective departments and Erik Toral to an executive role.
Agahnia is based in Los Angeles, California, and was promoted to agent in the music touring area’s private events division as part of CAA’s Elevate program, which develops employees with a curriculum that trains them in entrepreneurialism, inclusion, curiosity, collaboration, service and a growth mindset.
Binstock will now serve as an agent and work closely with Christian Carino and help create business opportunities for big acts such as The Weeknd, Madonna and David Blaine.
Coelho is now an agent in the media finance department and will be based in L.A. He will focus on packaging, source financing and selling of distribution rights for independent films. The Brazilian native worked on films such as “Call Me By Your Name” and “Ad Astra,” which starred Brad Pitt.
Quint was promoted to agent in the comedy touring department and represents comedians Nurse Blake, Craig Ferguson, Ron White and Bianca Del Rio.
Schillinger, who is based in Nashville, Tennessee, was elevated to agent in the music touring department after having served as an assistant and booking professional at CAA.
Toral’s new position is now executive in global client strategy and will develop brand strategies with musicians, actors and writers to help maximize their enterprise value and launch talent-led commercial businesses. Toral, who is based in L.A., started as a receptionist at CAA before transitioning to an assistant role and later as a coordinator.
