Shakey Graves Announces Fall North American Tour

One-man act Shakey Graves, whose real name is Alejandro Rose-Garcia, announced he will remain on the road this fall with the 34-date “Movie of the Week Tour” across North America that runs from September through November.

Following a one-month break from summer shows, the Americana musician will get back to performing live onstage Sept. 21 at The Van Buren in Phoenix, Arizona. The fall tour includes stops at Sacramento’s Ace of Spades, Theater a Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C. and The Salt Shed in Chicago, Illinois, before wrapping up at Egyptian Room-Old National Centre in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Rose-Garcia will have supporting acts Lucius, Abraham Alexander, Trampled by Turtles, Flipturn, Rayland Baxter and Sadurn joining him on select nights. The Austin native recently released a two-song EP that includes a duet with Sierra Farrell called “Ready or Not,” and will soon perform at Willie Nelson’s 4th of July Picnic in Austin, Texas.

Since June 2011, Shakey Graves has grossed more than $10.5 million and sold 339,791 tickets, according to the Pollstar Boxoffice. He performed a sold-out show in front of 1,400 fans at Newport Music Hall in Columbus, Ohio, on April 28 and earned $46,350.
