Courtney Barnett Announces Limited Fall U.S. Tour
Dolewave queen Courtney Barnett will play a handful of U.S. theaters this autumn as part of a limited tour.
The Aussie’s seven-date run is in support of a new instrumental album End of the Day, which features “17 seamless improvisations which were originally created as part of the score to the documentary about Barnett titled ‘Anonymous Club.'”
The tour launches October 11 at the Stone Church in Brattleboro, Vermont, and includes stops in New York, Philadelphia, Washington and Los Angeles, where she’ll wrap the tour with two nights at the Masonic Lodge November 3 and 4. See the full routing below.
The performances will feature two sets, the first with collaborator Stella Mozgawa and featuring “instrumental songs and improvisations from the soundtrack.” The second will highlight Barnett’s back-catalog.
Tickets go on sale July 14 at 10 a.m. local time. Pre-sale — access here — begins July 12 at 10 a.m. local.
Barnett toured U.S. and European theaters and clubs in 2022. Highlights, according to Pollstar Boxoffice reports, include a $43,621 gross on 1,474 tickets at Boston’s House of Blues September 12.
