The Mexican sensation that is Peso Pluma announced he will be taking his act overseas, extending his “Doble P Tour” with two dates in Spain this fall.

Planet Events, a big-time Spanish promoting company whose majority stake was sold to Live Nation in 2019, is producing the two shows that will take place in Madrid on Nov. 21 and Barcelona on Nov. 23. The two concerts will be the first in Spain for 24-year-old Peso Pluma, who recently embarked on his first-ever major North American tour. The presale for the European dates begins July 25 and the general onsale will be on July 27. Tickets can be acquired through the Planet Events website, Ticketmaster and El Corte Inglés.

Peso Pluma, the Spanish word for featherweight, ascended to stardom in Mexico with music that melded regional Mexican, corridos and urbano and achieved mainstream success not long after by collaborating with Eslabon Armado on the song “Ella Baila Sola.” The smash hit single went viral on social media and was certified 21 times platinum, elevating the regional Mexican genre to never-before-seen heights.

The Mexican superstar has 38 dates remaining on the North American leg of his Live Nation-produced “Doble P Tour,” which includes stops at YouTube Theater in Inglewood, California, Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater, UBS Arena in New York and Boston’s Leader Bank Pavilion before wrapping up with two shows at Honda Center in Anaheim on Oct. 20 and 21.
